Mapwerks Mini Appliance
The Mapwerks Mini Appliance comes with the most recent Australian Edition map data. It is OGC (Open Geospatial consortium) compliant. The following software is bundled with the Hardware to provide a TerraPages SnapStreetWMS map tile service
- Linux/Apache/Tomcat
- WMS Tilecache
- Administration Client
- WMS Browser based Ajax Web Client
- Downloadable Java Based Client that will connect from a desktop computer.
The Mapwerks Mini is ideal for 3rd party applications that: - Require Australian maps delivered with moderate performance.
- Require branding and custom specific map rendering "look and feel".
- Operating only in a private IP network (e.g car or boat or small bussiness office).
- Require distributed and redundant map servers to be placed around a campus network or micro jurisdiction such as a shopping centre.
